Aladdin USB Support for Windows NT4
                   -----------------------------------

Since Microsoft Windows NT4 does not support USB devices, Aladdin
provides you this functionality with an additional set of drivers using a
proprietary USB stack. Please note that different USB stacks can not coexist
on the same machine. Aladdin uses the Phoenix USB stack.

If you want to use an Aladdin USB key on Windows NT4, you must install the
included driver in addition to the standard Aladdin device drivers.
All Aladdin device drivers with the package version 4.20 and up
(hardlock.sys v2.45) contain the additional NT4 USB support interface. The
order of installation is not relevant.

Please note that you need to be logged on as administrator to install the
Aladdin USB drivers. You need to reboot after the installation to activate the
drivers.

Known problems/limitations:
---------------------------
- Please make sure USB interrupt is enabled in BIOS settings
- Aladdin USB drivers do not support USB root hubs on PCI boards
- The stack does not work reliable on Multiprocessor PCs
- If you have problems accessing the keys on external hubs, please try to connect
the keys directly to your computer.
